Where is Spartan Posts based?
Our products are made at our own facilities based in Somerset, England.
Why does the fiberglass layer not cover the bottom of the post?
Deeper than 15 cm (6 inches) below the ground, there isn’t enough oxygen to sustain decaying organisms and fungi. Combined with temperatures below 10°C, this prevents these organisms from surviving, halting the rotting process.
Can I install a Spartan Post into concrete?
Yes, all Spartan Posts can be installed using standard methods, including with fence post concrete.

Yes, the Spartan timber post will arrive already coated with the fiberglass rot protection ready to install straight into the ground.
